Languages Required : Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Maintain databases on status of Shipping Instructions (SIs) issued and the project resourcing status;
  2. Assist in the preparation of pipeline reports, which WFP issues regularly to donors in order to keep them accurately briefed;
  3. Answer queries on commodity movements, stocks and pledges from country offices, Headquarters and from donors in collaboration with WFP's commodity tracking unit,
  4. Provide pipeline break alerts to the Programme;
  5. Propose, as needed loans/swaps/repayments to cover shortfalls, stock rotation and to prevent stock build up;
  6. Maintain a database on loans and repayments between WFP projects and between WFP and other organizations;
  7. Maintain pipeline projections of the region;
  8. Create Resource Requests (RRs) in the WFP's Information Systems (WINGS) against confirmed contributions as applicable;
  9. Provide commodity pipeline related inputs to corporate documents, report and briefs;
  10. Perform other related duties as required.

Required Skills and Experience
Education: Secondary school education, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses in a field related to WFP logistics/transport activities.
Experience: At least four years of progressively responsible support experience including at least two years in the field of finance, accounting, transport, insurance, statistics, operations, administrative services or other related field. At least one year at G4 level or equivalent.
Knowledge: Experience utilizing computers, including word processing, spreadsheet and other software packages.
Language: Fluency in both oral and written communication in English and Arabic.

The applicant should be either an Iraqi national or have a valid Iraqi residence/ work permit at the time of application.
