UNOPS mission is to serve people in need by expanding the ability of the United Nations, governments and other partners to manage projects, infrastructure and procurement in a sustainable and efficient manner.

GPSO supports partners such as the World Bank, the European Union, the Department of Peacekeeping operations, the United Nations Mine Action Service, the Global Fund, and the Millennium Challenge Corporation, amongst others.
This global portfolio constitutes a substantial volume of UNOPS project delivery.
Background Information - Development Group Cluster
Development Group Cluster
UNOPS Development Group Cluster is based in the GPSO - New York Office and supports a diverse and complex portfolio including partners such as the United Nations Development Programme (the Bureau for Development Policy, the Special Unit for South-South Cooperation), the United Nations Population Fund, the United Nations Secretariat and a broadening community of primarily New York-based UN partners in the delivery of project management, implementation and administration services.
Background Information - Job-specific
The Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA)
OCHA's Field Information Services (FIS) section manages the Drupal-based HumanitarianResponse.info (HR.info) web platform. HR.info was launched in April 2012 to support the operational needs of the humanitarian response community. HR.info provides a simple way for OCHA, clusters, agencies and individuals to find and share operational data and information, ranging from individual contact information and up-to-date maps and assessment reports in emergency operations, to global policy guidance and resources. HR.info is currently on version 2.0 and active in 30 countries and regions.
OCHA is seeking a talented, creative and dedicated individual to further develop HR.info. A major area of development will be the integration of HR.info into a 'humanitarian hub' – a one-stop-shop that will pull data, information and documents from OCHA's web properties such as Reliefweb and the Humanitarian Data Exchange (HDX), as well as external sources. The Technical Lead will develop this and other features for the platform, whilst providing ongoing support to HR.info sites around the world.
